I also didn't like how manufacture-specific the weapons were. In my opinion, it was way cooler to just be fighting random enemies and find an amazing weapon, rather than farming bosses for hours for a weapon, or bothering people to dupe you said weapons. Many of the best weapons were purple rarity weapons. Not only that, but rare didn't necessarily mean best. In the first Borderlands, you could get rare weapons from any enemy, or even from vending machines. I hated how all the best weapons in Borderlands 2 were rare drops from enemy bosses, & that these were the best weapons and equipment in the game. I hope the loot system is more like Borderlands 1 & not like Borderlands 2. loot is like half the experience so *shrug*. Can't they just relaunch BL1 with BL2's map :( I'll just go back to playing that and forget that BL2 even happened. I honestly would STILL be playing BL1 instead of BL2 if it wasn't for the map. Yep I was playing BL1 recently and green trash was popping out of chests that was better than the green trash I was already using that was 4+ levels old that was still killing mobs just fine. Also let's get random legendaries back in, there's nothing more satisfy that scavenging a pile of junk for that elusive orange gun to pop out. IMO they screwed up the loot system in BL2, I'm just hoping they have rebalanced it so that more weapon drops are useful, instead of the 90% trash drops you get in BL2. It's also nice to actually find some battle rifles that are actually worthwhile. It's infinitely better and far more enjoyable, the guns actually feel nice more often. I'm replaying Borderlands 1 at the moment and I forgot how much better the loot system is.
